Debbie Booker (Owner, Director and Teacher)

My name is Debbie Booker and I am the director and owner of MCC Child Development Center.  I have been teaching in the ECE field since 1993.  I currently hold a  Master's Degree in Education, a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have also received several credentials from the NH Early Childhood Professional Development System including:  Early Childhood Master Professional, Early Childhood Master Teacher Credential and Early Childhood Administration Credential.

I have always been in a classroom ranging from infants to school agers during my career and, specifically here at MCC Child Development Center in the Preschool classroom since 2011.  In addition to being part of the "lab school" here at MCC Child Development Center, I also teach several courses for college students in the Early Childhood program here at Manchester Community College.

Therefore, I get the best of all worlds.  I am able to work with the children, families and future educators.  And... I love it!

Sohye Park (Lead Teacher)

Hello, my name is Sohye Park, and I am a lead teacher in our preschool classroom at the MCC Child Development Center. I began my teaching career when I was in South Korea and joined this team in 2015.  I currently hold a Master's Degree in Special Education, Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies-Early Childhood Administration and an Early Childhood Certificate.  I have also received several credentials from the NH Early Childhood Professional Development System including:  Early Childhood Master Professional and Early Childhood Master Teacher Credential.

The many happy memories of my childhood encouraged me to become an early childhood educator, and I am passionate about sharing the joy of learning with our children in MCC with warmth and love. I emphasize social equity and justice in our classroom and make sure all children are cared for.  Our children learn to cooperate, negotiate, and be kind to each other.

Besides working with children, I am an adjunct professor and the ECE Student Success Mentor at Manchester Community College. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge of child development with college students and supporting adult students' needs for their academic success in MCC.
